One of the two winners of the second largest lottery prize in U.S. history is a woman from Stone Mountain, Georgia who will take the cash option of $123 million, Georgia Lottery officials said Wednesday.
Ira Curry, who skipped out on the lottery announcement Wednesday afternoon, bought her ticket at a newsstand in Atlanta for the Mega Millions $648 million jackpot, the Associated Press reports. The winning numbers—which officials said Curry had chosen using family birthdays and the family’s lucky number 7—were announced Tuesday night.
Another winning ticket was purchased in San Jose, California, lottery officials said. California allows winners one year to claim their prize.
