Rev. Billy Graham, an evangelist known for his broadcast sermons and spiritual advice to U.S presidents, was hospitalized for a “respiratory congestion issue” Wednesday, according to a spokesman.
Graham, who turned 95 this month, suffered a similar incident a few weeks ago. He is expected to recover and return home in the next few days, spokesman Mark DeMoss told CBS News.
Earlier this month hundreds of guests — among them Rupert Murdoch and Donald Trump — gathered to celebrate Graham’s birthday in North Carolina. At the party he debuted a 30-minute film called “The Cross,” which some considered to be his final sermon.
