Lawyers for suspected Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will not be allowed more time to prepare an argument against a death sentence, the Boston Globe reports.
U.S. Senator Charles Grassley and U.S. Representative William Keating have asked the FBI for more information on what they knew of Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev prior to the April 15 bombing, and whether they had been under surveillance or informants at any point.
Tamerlan, who was killed in the shootout in Watertown, was interviewed in 2001 by the FBI after Russian authorities flagged him for extremist views.
The FBI has denied any identification of the brothers, who are suspected of planting bombs that killed three people and injured more than 260 during the Boston Marathon, prior to when their photos were released to the public on April 18.
