Air Force Colonel Jeannie Leavitt became the first female to lead an Air Force fighter wing last week when she assumed command of the 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. Leavitt is an F-15E pilot with more than 2,500 flight hours in the Strike Eagle, and comes to her new post from the CIA. "If you've ever dreamed of being a part of something bigger than yourself,” she told her new unit, “then realize that you have that opportunity now.”
