Thirteen people were injured Tuesday when a ferry ran aground off the coast of North Carolina, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
Eleven of the 31 passengers were taken to a local hospital, and two passengers were airlifted away from the scene, Star News Online reports. None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening at the time.
The ferry typically runs between Bald Head Island and Deep Port Marina in Southport, NC, around 30 miles from Wilmington.
