A car crashed into a Trader Joe’s in Oceanside, Long Island on Friday afternoon, injuring 15 people and causing havoc inside the store, where it finally came to a stop.
The New York Post reports that the Buick sedan “barreled past an outdoor Christmas wreath display around 1 p.m. and crashed through the store’s front before coming to a stop midway through one of the aisles, striking two people near the checkout line.”
Twelve people were taken to the hospital, including two with serious injuries, authorities told NBC New York. They said the female driver appeared to lose control of the car, but an investigation is ongoing.
