A former military helicopter pilot was struck and killed by the spinning rotor of a chopper he was using to give rides at a Pennsylvania town fair on Friday, the Associated Press reports.
Carl R. Enlow, 69, was walking over to speak to the pilot of a refueling aircraft at the Bloomsburg Fair when his hat blow off. He was hit by the rotor when he went to reach for it.
Enlow, who worked as a chiropractor, had more than 50 years of flying experience under his belt, according to the fair board.
