Snow was blanketing the East Coast once again on Tuesday, with New York City facing its 14th snowstorm of the winter but warmer temperatures just around the corner.

A Winter Weather Advisory was in effect for New York City and for the Boston suburbs. New York was expected to see about two inches of snow. Over, 650 flights were cancelled Tuesday morning, and flights out of New York’s LaGuardia Airport were delayed about two hours. Chicago, meanwhile, was  forecast to see eight inches of snow.

After a biting cold winter on the East Coast that included the so-called Polar Vortex, forecasts call for warmer temperatures in the low 50’s later this week.
