A building explosion and ensuing fire in Minneapolis sent 13 people to the hospital Wednesday morning, some with critical injuries.
The building is a community center containing apartments, a grocery stores and a mosque, according to a woman who owns a convenience store nearby, Minneapolis’ KSTP reports. A witness says he heard an explosion and saw the fire shortly thereafter. Firefighters are reportedly having difficulty fighting the blaze due to the ice-covered streets.
