Because no one won the $425 million Mega Millions jackpot last Friday, the pile of money just asking to be grabbed has increased to the second-highest level in the drawing’s history—$586 million.

After some change-ups in October, the odds of winning the jackpot have been lowered from 1 in 176 million to 1 in 259 million. The range of numbers people can select on their lotto tickets has also widened, making it more difficult to get that winning combination. CNN reports that the jackpot can possibly reach a whopping $1 billion by Christmas if no winner is selected after Tuesday’s drawing.
