New York City’s iconic Times Square will be on lockdown for six days early next year amid heightened security measures for the Super Bowl.

From Jan. 26 through Feb. 1, the day before the game, about 15 blocks of the famous commercial stretch will be closed to vehicles, with one street entirely off limits for most of the day, CBS reports. Super Bowl XLVIII is taking place in MetLife Stadium on the other side of the Hudson River in northern New Jersey.

Additional security measures, from bomb-sniffing dogs to extra radiation detection boats, will also be in place to protect locals and the expected 150,000 visitors to the New York area.
