A skirmish at New York jail Rikers Island ended with several injured inmates and prison guards.
Guards immediately responded to a fight that broke out late Friday, according a Correction Department spokesman. Four officers and several prisoners were injured, while some guards were treated for exposure to an unknown chemical agent, the Associated Press reports.
It was not immediately clear what prompted the fight.
