A trucker who killed an Arizona cop when he plowed into three police cars and two fire trucks in May was checking out women on Facebook moments before the crash, according to a new report.

The above video from a camera on the dashboard of driver Jorge Espinoza’s truck, obtained by the Arizona Daily Star, shows his Samsung Galaxy 3 flying out of his hand following the deadly collision. Espinoza’s wallet blocked the camera prior to the crash. Espinoza was looking at “photographs of several women in provocative positions, wearing little clothing” and a “woman in a low cut dress” before the crash, according to police records obtained by the Daily Star.

One Arizona Department of Public Safety officer died in the crash. Espinoza said he didn’t see the police cars because he was looking at a passing truck in his rearview mirror at the time of the crash. He was going 65 miles per hour on cruise control.

Espinoza — whose phone, according to investigators, also shows a history of scouring YouTube, porn sites, and female escort pages while on duty driving — has been charged with second-degree murder. He has pleaded not guilty.

“Espinoza would have been able to perceive the danger… if he had not chosen to distract himself while accessing Facebook from his cellular telephone while operating his assigned commercial vehicle,” the police report says.
