One person was hospitalized and seven more suffered minor injured on Sunday when a United Airlines flight hit “severe turbulence” during its descent into Dublin.

“We hit a pretty bad downdraft and we have some passengers hurt so we need some ambulances to meet the flight,” the pilot told air traffic controllers while still in the air, NBC reports. The fasten seat belt light was on during the turbulence.

United Flight 23 was a 757 carrying 129 passengers and eight crew from New York to Ireland. The plane was met by ambulances after landing safely. The airline is reviewing the incident.
