A Pennsylvania appeals court denied former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky’s request for a new trial in his child sexual abuse case on Wednesday.
Sandusky argued that his trial lawyers didn’t have time to prepare for the case that resulted in a 45-count conviction of abusing 10 boys, the Associated Press reports. He also cited improper behavior by both the prosecutor and judge.
The 69-year-old is serving a 30- to 60-year prison sentence, although his lawyers says that he will appeal to the state Supreme Court.
