At least eight people were killed Wednesday afternoon when a church bus, a tractor trailer, and an SUV collided on a highway in eastern Tennessee.
More than ten other people were sent to nearby hospitals, and the Tennessee Department of Transportation shut down the section of the Interstate 40 for the day, the News Sentinel reports. The crash site continued to burn as first responders arrived.
