George Zimmerman: ‘I Certainly Was A Victim’

God is "the only judge I have to answer to", says acquitted killer of Trayvon Martin

George Zimmerman still believes that he was a victim the night he shot and killed unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin. “I certainly was a victim when I was having my head bashed into the concrete and my nose broken and beaten,” Zimmerman told CNN on Monday. ” So I wouldn’t say I was not a victim.”

A jury in Florida acquitted Zimmerman of second-degree murder and manslaughter charges in the death of Trayvon Martin seven months ago. Zimmerman admits that he killed the 17-year-old while he was working as a neighborhood watchman, but he says it was  in self-defense. Perhaps that’s why he claimed memories of the night don’t haunt him. When asked why, he said, “I don’t know.” But he did say that if he could go back, he would have “stayed home” that night.

Despite all the controversy over the verdict, Zimmerman never doubted himself because of his faith in God. “I know He’s the only judge I have to answer to. He knows what happened and I know what happened.”

Though Zimmerman once aspired to be a police officer, he now says that he hopes to be a lawyer. “I’d like to professionally…continue my education and hopefully becoming an attorney,” he said. “I think that’s the best way to stop the miscarriage of justice that happened to me.”

Zimmerman has run into legal trouble since his acquittal. He was pulled over for speeding; his wife called the police saying that Zimmerman was threatening her with a gun; and his new girlfriend has also claimed that he threatened her with a shotgun. (They have since reconciled.)

He’s also had a number of PR problems. He has used his notoriety to sell paintings for hundreds of thousands of dollars and even agreed to become a prize fighter for charity — even though in trial he claimed he could not hold off a teenager.

“I saw it as an opportunity,” Zimmerman said of the boxing match with rapper DMX, which was canceled by its promoter. “I never expected it to turn out the way it did.”

Zimmerman continues to get death threats nearly two years after the night he killed Martin. “I have a lot of people saying that, you know, they guarantee that they’re going to kill me and I’ll never be a free man,” he said. “I realize that they don’t know me. They know who I was portrayed to be.” Zimmerman said that those who say he is a racist don’t know that some of his family members are black.

“Before the trial, during and after, I’ve learned that the majority of people, when they sit down with me one-on-one or with my family, they get a completely different perspective on me,” he said.

When asked about Michael Dunn—a Florida man convicted of second degree murder for shooting an African-American teenager during a fight over loud music—Zimmerman said, “I don’t watch the news anymore. I watch comedy shows, home improvement shows. So I’m not well enough informed to give you exacts [sic].”

Anyone mature enough to apply only objective thinking must agree that the ONLY reason Zimmerman was ever charged in this case was to rid the American communities of the complete morons who were gathering in groups and chanting in protest fueled by inaccurate understanding.  Had Zimmerman been black, nobody would have cared about the case (period).

A "scapegoat" is "a person who is unfairly blamed for something that others have done", according to Merriam-Webster.  By the very fact that this non-criminal, very clear use of legal self-defense went to trial... with the supposed defendant only ever put behind bars as a means through which to rid decent communities of the gatherings of biased morons...  Zimmerman was very clearly 'unfairly blamed'.

One could very clearly argue that it was in fact Treyvon Martin's parents who "did" to Treyvon that which sealed his ultimate fate. This is a kid said by millions to have been walking "home" with Skittles and iced tea, when the FACT is that Treyvon's high school was more than 200 miles from where he walked.  That's a hell of a long ride in a yellow school bus!!

The reality is that Treyvon Martin's own parents set him up to be gunned down by anybody who happened along - it doesn't even matter who - but heaven forbid the other person not be black.  Then it was these same parents of Treyvon Martin who incited riots all across our land.

Nobody in law enforcement anywhere ever thought there was a chance in hell of George Zimmerman being convicted of wrong-doing in the death of Treyvon Martin, but the case was only tried as a means of limiting the complete idiots from gathering in numbers (greater than usual) on American street corners.

Tiz far more accurate to say that George Zimmerman is a scapegoat than it is to say that Treyvon Martin's actions weren't directly responsible for his own death.  And everybody knows where Treyvon should have learned appropriate behavior even if he never learned...

Young, Hispanic Male Shot While on His Way to Attend Fun, Fellowship, and Firearms Event

Today, the Cocoa Police Department released the transcript of the 911 call made by an employee of a gun manufacturer minutes before he shot and killed a young, Hispanic male on February 26th.

Dispatcher:Cocoa Police Department…

Gun Manufacturer Employee:Hey, we've had some break-ins at the businesses in our area, and there's a real suspicious guy, uh, in the area. This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's been drinking or something. It's raining, and he's just walking around, looking about.

Dispatcher:OK, and this guy, is he White, Black, or Hispanic?

Gun Manufacturer Employee:No, he’s not white—I know that for sure.Looks Hispanic, you know, like one of those Mexican illegals that hang around the factories in this area.

Dispatcher:Did you see what he was wearing?

Gun Manufacturer Employee:Yeah. A big, loose shirt, you know how they dress, with their shirts untucked.

Dispatcher:OK, he's just walking around the area…

Gun Manufacturer Employee:…looking at all the businesses.

Dispatcher:OK.

Gun Manufacturer Employee:He's heading in the direction of the convention hall right now.

Dispatcher:OK, we've got someone on the way.

Gun Manufacturer Employee:OK. These assholes, they always get away.

Dispatcher:Are you following him?

Gun Manufacturer Employee:Yeah.

Dispatcher:OK, we don't need you to do that.

Gun Manufacturer Employee:OK.

Following the release of the transcript this morning, the mother of the victim began to cry after reading the portion of the transcript in which the shooter describes her son’s form of dress.

That evening, I told my son, Jorge, how handsome he looked in the guayabera[1] that I had given him for Christmas. These shirts are common attire among Hispanic males—citizens, immigrants, and undocumented workers alike. They resemble Hawaiian shirts in fit, but are not as ornate. What did this man who murdered my son in cold blood find so offensive, so “suspicious,” about such a common, everyday item of clothing? My son thought these people were his friends, like-minded people. In fact, when my son toured the factory, he posed for pictures with a few people.Among those pictures is a photo of my son posing with his killer!

[1] A “guayabera” is a traditional Hispanic men’s shirt, light-weight and short-sleeved, worn primarily by Hispanic males from various countries of origin.

IF ONLY THE SIX JURORS HAD ASKED THEMSELVES, "WHAT IF I...?"

What if I, a woman, decide to walk home after the sun has set, like Trayvon Martin walked home that evening?

What if I am selected by an armed aggressor to be stalked, like the armed aggressor George Zimmerman selected and stalked Trayvon Martin?

What if I turn to face the stalker and stand my ground, like Trayvon Martin stood his ground when the stalker George Zimmerman chose to ignore police admonitions and—with intent—pursued, set upon, and confronted his victim?

What if I defend myself against the stalker who has set upon me on a dark and isolated path, like Trayvon Martin defended himself against the stalker and aggressor George Zimmerman?

What if I attempt to fight off the stalker and aggressor, like Trayvon Martin attempted to fight off the stalker and aggressor George Zimmerman?

What if I am killed by the stalker and aggressor, like Trayvon Martin was killed by the stalker and aggressor George Zimmerman?

Will I, like Trayvon Martin, be blamed for my own murder?

And will the stalker and aggressor who killed me, like George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin, be cast as just your friendly Neighborhood Watch volunteer?

Yes Jesus in the Lord's prayer said we should pray "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."

Trevor was walking home. to his parents. How true that evil came to him even when the authorities had said to the gun wielding vigilante, "Back off"

Only the good Lord knows how this 60 lbs seventeen  year old teenager could have lifted this heavy weight  of a man who is at least 200 lbs and injured him without taking his gun and having George dispatch him to the great beyond. Unfortunately Trevon is not here to speak for himself.

MikadoCat is speaking on his behalf. False witness of the worst kind.

We shall understand when we get to heaven. American justice has ruled that the 60 lb teenager was capable of drubbing the 200 lbs heavy weight.  Justice indeed.

I have never understood why so many were quick to hate Zimmerman, calling him a racist murder with no evidence supporting the heinous accusation sourced from a personal injury lawyer and his publicist that didn't even know Zimmerman isn't white.

Obama wasted millions putting 27 FBI agents on to digging up Zimmerman's past looking for some sign of racism and found NOTHING. Just like Corey witness after witness said the opposite, that Zimmerman was not racist, that he stood up in public to fight against racism, dated a black girl, and tutored black children.

Trayvon Martin wasn't a thug, just an angry kid kicked out of his mothers house and put on a bus to Sanford for fighting in school and getting his third suspension that year. Zimmerman somehow got in the way of Trayvon's plan's, and Trayvon beat him up like a typical bully beating up the fat kid in school. Trayvon's body and clothes showed no sign that Zimmerman ever struck him, grabbed him, or in any way harmed him until Trayvon saw his victim was armed and reached for the gun forcing Zimmerman to defend his life.

That makes Zimmerman a victim.

The Martin's used powerful connections within Florida law enforcement, and politicians to attack Zimmerman a second time even more viciously. The last president to speak out during a murder trial was Nixon in reference to Manson, and he was trounced in the media for a very neutral comment, nothing like Obama and his endorsement of Trayvon. Each of the leaks from Sanford police attacking Zimmerman was a felony, that is the level of bias against Zimmerman, but both city and regional law enforcement found NO EVIDENCE that Zimmerman committed any crime or was not defending his life. Politically appointed Corey wasted millions attempting to railroad Zimmerman in the courts violating the oath of her office and withholding evidence. The malicious prosecution cost Zimmerman millions to defend against.

That makes Zimmerman a victim.

I don't think Zimmerman is necessarily the greatest guy in the world, but I think it's obvious he's a victim.

The media took hold of this case because they were using it as a racial issue to drum up ratings.

His case wouldn't even have gone to trial if not for the race issue.

Both George and Trayvon were victims.

Trayvon was a victim of indifferent parents and culture.  It turned him into a thug.

George Zimmerman and all the other residents of this neighborhood were victims of a huge increase in crime driven by may other young people who were also victims of piss poor parenting.

Trayvon's pride and joy was his fighting skills, and that made him a young bully.

It is easy to see the forces which created Thugvon in his parents and their associates who have adopted McCarthyism, rabid, bald faced black McCarthyism.

Contrast and compare Joe McCarthy's tactics with those of the Martin Scheme Team. With McCarthy there were commies everywhere and with the Martins there are racists everywhere (especially in their ranks).

George Zimmerman is right, he is the victim and he is not alone.

George pulled the trigger while being assaulted, but who deserves blame for making Trayvon into Thugvon?

bmhay1

George, You are Not a Victim, other than of your own Imagination.

Scapegoat: No, You might feel this way due to your upbringing, thus your reason for blaming others.

Unemployed: Get a job George! You did not do too well in this category most of your life, but you did make some effort.

Nothing happened to George Zimmerman that he didn't bring upon himself.

Who is threatening to kill you George? How are they contacting you? Via Twitter? Get rid of Twitter.

I think GZ is reading a lot of comments about him and taking them as threats. They are just comments to the articles GZ! It IS TRUE, You will never be a free man! You cannot run from yourself nor God. You are in the midst of answering to your Maker now George. It won't be over any time soon, it is just not as quick as pulling a trigger.

George, the World can forget... everything they ever read about you, and many have already, and just take in you from your Actions, your Speech, Body Language, and your Inactions, and the World knows George Zimmerman. While you have your good points, You show the World your true colors which are not pretty.

Homeless: You have family, live with them until you can stand on your own two feet.

PTSD: I'm sure you do have PTSD. You had mental problems before the murder. You are in need of lots of psychological help. Seek it now!

The hunting of George Zimmerman
August 14, 2013
South African journalist James Myburgh on what the Trayvon Martin case says about the US media and judicial systems

excerpt:

....In the chapter on "national delusions" in his 1852 work Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds, Charles MacKay noted how "In reading the history of nations, we find that, like individuals, they have their whims and their peculiarities; their seasons of excitement and recklessness, when they care not what they do. We find that whole communities suddenly fix their minds upon one object, and go mad in its pursuit; that millions of people become simultaneously impressed with one delusion, and run after it, till their attention is caught by some new folly more captivating than the first. "

The Trayvon Martin story is a case study in how, even in the modern day, an advanced industrialized democracy can completely lose its senses; and how difficult it is for it to then recover them. In this particular matter a whole society seemingly fixed its mind on the one object of having George Zimmerman arrested, convicted and sent to jail for life, in reckless disregard of the evidence and the law. The mainstream media, so-called civil rights organizations, the Democrat President of the US, the US Attorney General, the Republican Governor of Florida and his Attorney General, and State Attorney Angela Corey all combined forces in an effort to destroy a single, isolated individual.

Yet, as documented above, we now know that the incendiary claims made by the Martin family team - which ignited and then fueled this state of national hysteria - were almost all bogus. Zimmerman's legal team came very close to proving, beyond reasonable doubt, that their client had acted in reasonable fear of his life and great bodily injury in shooting Trayvon Martin; an inversion of the usual burden of proof. The Sanford police knew from the beginning that the evidence tended to support Zimmerman's self-defense claim which is why they had been reluctant to make an arrest.

The failures of the mainstream media in their reporting on this case were manifold. The claims of the Martin family team should have, from the beginning, been treated with some degree of caution. Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, and their lawyers, had two motivations in campaigning in the way that they did for the arrest of George Zimmerman. The one was obviously vengeance, the other greed. Following the arrest of Zimmerman Benjamin Crump sent a letter on May 9 to the Retreat at Twin Lakes' Homeowners' Association announcing the intention of Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton to file suit. This had always been the intention of the Martin family and their lawyers. Natalie Jackson had sent a letter to the HOA on March 14 2012 demanding that they preserve any evidence relating to the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. The Martin team reached a settlement agreement with the HOA's insurers in early April 2013, which Zimmerman's lawyers estimated amounted to over a million dollars.

Such precautionary skepticism should have been redoubled once the Martin family team had been caught out, very early on, lying about Trayvon Martin's school record and the existence of and reasons for his multiple suspensions. Instead, they were repeatedly given a free pass, even by the more critically minded journalists and commentators.

Mr. Zimmerman's actions were indefensible.  Carrying a weapon as part of a neighborhood "Watch", disregarding a police dispatcher's directions, instigating a confrontation with a law-abiding unarmed teen, and shooting that teen when Mr. Zimmerman felt at a disadvantage of his own making.  Calling himself a "victim" is delusional and self-serving.  I like to think he's looking over his shoulder all the time now.

Ignorance or lies, you are wrong.

Trayvon was not walking home, certainly not to his parents. His mother kicked him out of her house near Miami two weeks earlier and he was put on a bus to Sanford where his married father was visiting his girlfriend Brandy Green. Tracy Martin and Brandy Green were out of town at a convention leaving Trayvon alone with Brandy's 14 year old son.

Most important, Trayvon was not walking anyplace. The police timeline puts Trayvon just inside the complex for about half an hour standing looking around in the rain before Zimmerman reports him to police.

Anyone who has listened to the full dispatch recording knows you are lying, and Zimmerman was never told to "back off". After Trayvon approached Zimmerman's truck, then ran, dispatch asks Zimmerman which way he is running and Zimmerman obey's the dispatch request and gets out of his truck to watch where Trayvon is running and report it back to dispatch. Dispatch clarifies the request saying they "don't need you to do that" and clearly again on the recording Zimmerman obeys and stops while Trayvon continues running until out of Zimmerman's sight a few seconds later. A no point does Zimmerman approach Trayvon or come remotely near him.

Dispatch then calmly discusses contact information and going on the assumption that Trayvon like all previous runners has left the complex by the rear gate, whether or not a police car should still come out. Zimmerman agrees to wait for the police to arrive and they discuss where to meet, but Zimmerman doesn't have a specific address of his current location and requests the car call him on arrival to give them detailed directions.

Four minutes later Trayvon returns from his hiding place and attacks Zimmerman where he is waiting for police to arrive. Trayvon approaches Zimmerman from behind, then confronts him when he is close enough to strike, asking Zimmerman a question to distract him then uses a cowardly sucker punch while Zimmerman has his guard down. 160 lbs in lean fighting shape Trayvon knocks the 207 lb shorter fat Zimmerman to the ground with a broken nose in a single punch to the head. Trayvon then mounts his victim MMA style and beats him for a minute while Zimmerman screams for help and tries to get away.

A neighbor comes out and yells at Trayvon to stop the beating and then goes back inside his house to call police when Trayvon does not stop. A few seconds later Zimmerman's attempt to get away reveals his gun and Trayvon reaches for it forcing Zimmerman to defend his life against Trayvon's escalating attack.

The case is clear self defense, but the Martin family has powerful connections to Florida law enforcement and politicians, so they are able to attack Zimmerman a second time using a media smear campaign created by their personal injury lawyer, one of Florida's largest fund raisers for Obama.

Perpetualbass
Perpetualbass

Everything you said is correct. He was minding his own.business and breaking no laws which is why his walking in the rain and looking about was called in as a non emergency. Therefore there must have been some other reason why Zimmerman deemed it necessary to exit his vehicle when the person suspected of a non emergency decided to "skip" away. What exactly was he trying to get away with as a result of a non emergency call? Clearly nothing. Zimmerman's round of interviews proves he is mentally unstable and Trayvon had no chance to survive an encounter with someone so paranoid and hell bent on a.confrontation. A 30 second walk back.to his truck could not be accomplished in a full four minutes nor did he accomplish locating an address in 4 minutes. Now he himself was suspiciously walking around in the rain and looking.about. Go figure.

MikadoCat
MikadoCat

@chukigwe

Trayvon used a sucker punch, a cowardly attack where you distract your victim then strike when their guard is down.

That cowardly sucker punch broke Zimmerman's nose and left him defenseless bleeding on the ground. Trayvon continued the beating sitting on Zimmerman to prevent his escape and pounding his head against the pavement as Zimmerman screamed for help.

How can you defend this bully?

Getting shot by attempting to take Zimmerman's gun did not change him from an attacking bully to a victim.

MikadoCat
MikadoCat

@almonjer  What an amazingly ignorant person. Many outside the US are forbidden to own firearms, but the concept of self defense is universal in all civilized countries. When an angry Trayvon attacks you can legally defend your life, including the use of deadly force. That's common law hundreds of years old.

TheLightHouse

@JusticeDelivered If a black jury knew what you said was true and Zimmerman was black, Zimmerman would be serving time for 1st degree murder, if charged. Even an unarmed thug in his own back courtyard needs to defend himself when a followed and confronted by a significantly heavier man. Blacks and many whites can't ascribe a motive other than racism for setting the white Zimmerman free even under the fear-based SYG vigilante law. It's impossible when the body was found yards away from the sidewalk and the audio tapes indicate motive. Imagine what blacks felt about the hung jury on 1st degree murder in the Dunn case.

Zimmerman's celebrity and the SYG law's popularity among whites concerns many blacks. The gutting of the VRA and the popularity of Voter ID and other voter suppression laws among whites makes them think we're going back in time. The virtually unprecedented hate expressed toward our first black president by GOP voters and their representatives make them know it. The sky-rocketing hate groups leaves no doubt. Blacks must remember it sometimes takes being pushed back before you can move forward with renewed vigor.

@bmhay1  Poor bmhay1.  Sounds like you're having PTSD about the not guilty verdict, which every reasonable person completely expected.

TheLightHouse

@nobodiesfoolThe end of apartheid didn't end its delusions. Blacks must remember Nelson Mandela when confronting the growing hate, arrogance and self righteousness of the shrinking white majority. Our freedom is inexorably linked to theirs. The Koch brothers and plutocrats who manufactured these delusions embraced by so many whites are our concern. The Plutocrats who channel 40% of all campaign donations to the GOP, own the media, and write most of our laws through ALEC and lobbyists are leading us all into a form of slavery. The founders of our country understood the threat to democracy these historic wealth and earnings imbalances represent. We live in a makers-takers functional plutocracy and imperfect Democrats offer our only path toward regaining our economic, social and political freedoms.

It's enough that blacks and many whites understand the injustice of the murder verdicts in the Zimmerman & Dunn cases. Plutocrats using ALEC wrote the SYG laws to sell guns and promote division which strengthens their hold on power. The Supreme Court's decisions on Citizens United and Section 5 of the VRA gave Plutocrats unprecedented power over our elections. The Plutocrat supported GOP lead the way in designing Voter ID and other voter suppression laws disenfranchising millions of black, Latino, student and poor likely Democrat voters. The GOP and MSM convinced over 75% of whites strict Voter ID laws combating near non-existent registered voter impersonation while only requiring 'Takers' (blacks, Latinos & poor) to pick up 'free' government issued photo IDs to vote (travel, birth certificate... poll taxes). A PA State Judge overturned its strict Voter ID law finding the laws implementation demonstrated a discriminatory impact guaranteed to disenfranchise voters with zero evidence supporting the states reason for the law - combating voter impersonation. The ruling outlined why all strict Voter ID laws in states covered under Section 5 of the VRA were rejected prior to the Supreme Court's VRA decision.

Plutocrats took over and financed the Tea Party movement to strengthen their distrust and hatred of government and the poor (blacks and Latinos). Tea Party distrust fueled their passion to support the government hating GOP and their policies funding Plutocrats on the backs of the poor and middle class. Their distrust combined with conservative media distortions fueled their nearly unprecedented hate of our first black president and the sky-rocketing number of hate groups since his election. Plutocrats know the Recovery Act and Bailout' created over 5 million jobs and the sky-rocketing stock markets lining their pockets. Plutocrats know the conservative backed market driven ACA works and empowers the poor and middle class. Distrust, division and conservative media distortions blinds the Tea Party/GOP voters to reality. Plutocrats know Dem Admin created private sector jobs at twice rate of the GOP while maintaining slower deficit growth since 1961. The economic records of Clinton, Bush and Obama confirm the growing gap in Party results. Plutocrats cherish power over money knowing GOP trickle down policies insure over 90% of increasing wealth and earnings is channeled their way.Remember whites lost in the conservative media bubble are not our enemies and suffer in far greater numbers. We must use the challenges we face as motivation to grow strong and empower our president and Democrats to recapture our democracy.

Zimmerman's watch consisted of looking around while walking his dog each night, and his right to bear arms while doing so is not abridged. Trayvon was spotted as Zimmerman was on his way to the store, not related to NW.

Zimmerman explicitly obeyed the dispatcher suggestions. Anyone who has listened to the full dispatch recording knows this.

All testimony including Jeantel's has Trayvon approaching and confronting Zimmerman.

Trayvon has a history of lawless behavior, he was never charged for racial reasons. Regardless when he attacked and beat Zimmerman it was lawless and vicious. Reaching for Zimmerman's gun instead of stopping the attack is what caused Trayvon's death, his own actions with Zimmerman having no real choice but to stop him.

Zimmerman has never had an xray of his nose nor had it fixed. It's well past time to stop claiming it was broken. I've read the SYG law. If Martin hit Zimmerman it wasn't effective, he's dead but according to the law he had the right to stand his ground against an UNIDENTIFIED STRANGER that stalked him with a gun. Trayvon had more than a reasonable fear and although he had no duty to retreat he attempted to do so, four minutes later the man was out of his car on a direct pathway to Trays back door WITH A GUN. Had Trayvon lived Zimmerman goes to prison NO DOUBT IT and Trayvon easily wins a SYG claim.

And yes, racism of any color is not defensible.

Mr. Zimmerman's actions were outside the rules of acceptable action, as I stated above.  We have laws and police for a reason, to keep people like Mr.Zimmerman from killing people.  Which is what he did.

@CeceliaSmith @Openminded1  George will not even make it to law school, some scum bag or gang member will most likely  kill him before he gets the chance to make it to college. he is a marked man in most hoods and big cities in america by the black community. The man was found not guilty, his girl friend also lied and brought up false charges, knowing he was hated by most blacks. TM was a thug and caused his own death, all he had to do is walk home.

9/11 was not self defense

9/11 was an act of Terror.  Period. Full Stop.

Whenever innocent lives are taken, our christianity is questioned. I dont know exactly what the trust of your argument is. The US is a country of due process. Self defense is not due process so taking the law into your own hand is uniquely babaric whether it is the perpitrators of 9/11 or those who kill innocent tenagers.

Unfortunately, this is an old story except if you are the parents of Treyvon. Treyvon  is at peace with his maker. For the rest of us, "Aleuta Continua" For those who perpetrate injustice, let justice follow them to the end.

@RobinLove18 @johnmnsota  You don't even seem to know what happened, did you see none of the evidence or the trial?

Trayvon was NOT walking home or minding his own business, the police time line puts him standing around the same area in the rain just inside the complex for half an hour before being spotted and reported by Zimmerman.

Trayvon ran when spotted, then came back approaching Zimmerman from behind and attacked and beat him. Beating Zimmerman and reaching for his gun is what led to Trayvon's death, both entirely his own actions.

@RobinLove18

Have you every bothered to study the actual evidence?  Apparently you have not.

That 17 year old was very much like so many others, teen thugs who lie, cheat, steal and assault.  And they either kill or are killed in large numbers.

The only difference with this case is that Thugvon took his fists and a sidewalk to a gun fight and his victim happened to have much lighter skin.

@johnmnsota @RobinLove18Georgie Girl is guilty because he stalked & killed a young kid who was minding his own business. GZ's cowardly actions resulted in the death of a 17 year old teen that was walking in the rain, talking to a girl on the phone. That was what TM did & it resulted in his murder. And, the concept of Karma is that you reap what you sow & most people don't realize is that it is not always about this lifetime.

Well. George would make a better candidate than Thugvon.

Remember, George was supporting a black homeless man who had been assaulted while Thugvon was assaulting a boy he called a snitch and then bragging about it and his intention to assault the boy again.

As to an associate in two years, in this economy few make it in two years, and when one has to work full time four years is not unusual.
