An elderly man was killed Monday when a package delivered to his Tennessee home exploded, igniting a blaze and badly injuring his partner.

Authorities have ruled out accidental causes, like a gas leak or electrical malfunction for the explosion that killed retired bankruptcy lawyer Jon Setzer, 74, and critically injured Marion Setzer, 72, The Tennessean reports. Marion Setzer was taken to a hospital by helicopter with burns on her face and chest.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering  $8,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and a conviction. A motive hasn’t yet been determined, but officials said the package bomb was likely an isolated incident.
