If pot-toting travelers forget to toss their newly legalized recreational marijuana before boarding a plane at the Colorado Springs airport, they can get a pass for their grass.

So-called amnesty boxes are being placed at the airport Wednesday for passengers who forget that even though recreational pot is now legal in Colorado, it’s illegal to bring the drug inside an airport, the Associated Press reports.

The idea is to help people make their flights even if they broke the law, which mandates up to $2,500 in fines and possible jail time for possession in the airport.
