A Michigan road sign points the way for motorists to Hell, Michigan June 6, 2006.

In news certain to have scorned suitors everywhere dousing themselves in cologne, Hell has officially frozen over — the tiny hamlet in Michigan, that is.

Around 600 nearby residents have been blighted by deep snow caused by the polar vortex now affecting the U.S. Temperatures have plummeted to -20C, even dropping to -33C when taking wind-chill into account, with many vehicles left stranded.

Several cities in the northern U.S. have been rendered virtually uninhabitable by the current extreme cold spell. Residents have been urged to stock up on supplies and stay in their homes.

The town of Hell is situated 60 miles west of Detroit, and received its chthonic moniker on Oct. 13, 1841. Derek Wallbank, U.S. House reporter for Bloomberg News, tweeted news of its incongruous weather on Tuesday.

Since Hell has frozen sinners can carry on with their sins. Nothing much to worry about since Hell's hotness issue is laid to rest. So sinners, Happy Hell Freeze Moment. $oke

It's so cold out, but Hell is as Hot as ever........

Proverbs 15:11

Hell and destruction are before the Lord: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?

Proverbs 15:24.......
The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

I took this photo in 2003. It has been circulating around the Internet. The sign was directly across the street from my house. Since then, the sign has been stolen so many times that the county has refused to replace it. This week it got down to -17 F in Hell, Mi. That's real degrees, not wind factor. We have 18 inches of snow on the ground. Hell, indeed, has frozen over.

It seems, nature itself reveals the bluff about the "prospects" of shale gas development.

Gas prices in the U.S. rose to a record high due to frost and snow, affecting the Central and Northern part of the USA.

Gas prices in new Jersey, where fuel is supplied, in particular, in new York, grew to 90 dollars. USA for 1 million British thermal units (BTU), while 3 January was about us $ 14. US dollars per 1 million BTU.

On 2 other hubs, where fuel is supplied to the States from South Carolina to new Jersey, the prices surged to $ 95. US dollars per 1 million BTU.

So high gas prices have not been raised in the last ten years.

Daily consumption of fuel in the USA 6 January 2013 increased to a historic high and amounted to 3.56 billion cubic meters.

I hope that Europe now would guess that the shale gas revolution» was a propaganda bluff on the part of the United States for the purpose of selling expensive equipment and technologies for extraction of shale gas, because such a barbaric technology strongly pollutes ecology. Ordinary Americans suffer from polluted drinking water, spend money on treatment, but the benefits of such a extraction as a tears that cat to cry.
