The shipping company also reminded customers in a statement that they could pick up packages to help speed the process.
“UPS pickup and delivery operations are operating in all ZIP Codes,” the company said. “We experienced heavy holiday volume and are making every effort to get packages to their destination as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
The company, along with Federal Express, have blamed the hold-up on a shorter time frame between Thanksgiving and Christmas, bad weather and a high volume of online shopping.
