The 17-year-old son of a Florida school teacher who was found dead in her home on Christmas Eve has been charged with murdering his mother, according to a local news report.
William Brandon Aydelott was arrested Tuesday in a nearby residence where he has lived since an argument with his mother broke out in September. Hours earlier, police found the body of the mother, Sharon Aydelott, with stab wounds to the face and throat, the Northwest Florida Daily News reports.
William Aydelott was charged with premeditated murder and confessed to the murder, according to the police report, the Daily News reports.
Sharon Aydelott was a sixth and seventh grade science teacher at a local Middle School, where she had been teaching since 1998.
