A  Connecticut college student was arrested after authorities found two handguns, an assault rifle and newspaper articles about mass shootings at his home, after reports of a gunman prompted a campus lockdown.

University of New Haven student William Dong, 22, was arrested after the Tuesday lockdown, and police disclosed what they found at his home on Wednesday, the Associated Press reports.

Though there was no gunfire and no injuries reported, police charged Dong with illegal possession of an assault weapon and other crimes. Dong faced was being held on $500,000 bail, and he faces arraignment hearing Wednesday.
