The Florida man suspected of murdering his wife and posting a picture of her corpse on Facebook has been charged with murder in the first degree.
According to a report by Associated Press, 31-year-old suspect Derek Medina told authorities in Aug. that he shot and killed his wife while acting in self-defense.
However, according to testimony provided by a detective in Oct., forensic evidence proves that victim was “on her knees with one arm raised in front of her at the time of the shooting”.
Medina is scheduled to attend a plea hearing on Wednesday.
