A  pilot’s windshield cracked during a flight from Miami to Boston late Tuesday, forcing the plane to land in Orlando, the airline said.

The pilot’s double-paned window cracked after American Airlines Flight 160 had already taken off, prompting crew members to make the unscheduled landing, the Associated Press reports. It was not immediately clear what caused the crack, and no injuries were reported among the 156 passengers on board.

A spokeswoman said crack windshields do not occur often, “but it does happen on occasion.”

The plane was pulled for repairs and passengers boarded another aircraft that arrived in Boston early Wednesday.
