A house party in a Houston suburb turned deadly when gunfire rang out Saturday, killing two and wounding more than 20 people, according to Texas police.

Police are looking for two suspects in connection with the shooting, which happened between 11 p.m. and midnight in suburban area of Cypress. More than 100 people were present when the shots were fired, sending panicked guests fleeing, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s office. A man and woman were killed, the Houston Chronicle reports. One victim died at the scene and the other was pronounced dead at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital. Dozens were wounded by gunfire, but the rush to escape also contributed to injuries, ranging from serious to non-life threatening, authorities say.

Police are uncertain about what prompted the shooting. Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Christina Garza says at least one parent was in the house.

The party was advertised on Twitter as an 18th birthday party.
