Two convicted murders who had escaped from a Florida prison with forged documents were recaptured Saturday night, CNN reports.
Florida authorities arrested Joseph Jenkins and Charles Walker, both sentenced to life without parole, were released with forged documents on September 27 and October 8, respectively.
The men were taken into custody “without incident, ” and the state Department of Corrections insists it is not at fault for the mistaken release.
