David Petraeus, the four-star general who resigned as head of the CIA after his affair with his biographer came to light last year, will join the Harvard Kennedy School as a non-resident senior fellow, the school announced Friday.
Petraeus, who resigned from the CIA in November 2012 after admitting to an extra-marital affair with Paula Broadwell, is currently a visiting professor at the City University of New York.
At Harvard, he will jointly lead a new project, “The Coming North America Decades,” that focuses on the technological, scientific and economic developments that can spur North American competitiveness.
