A Wisconsin hotel is preparing to evict a woman who has lived there for nine years, saying she owes owes tens of thousands of dollars for her stay.

Jana Ganjian moved into the Marriott in Racine, Wis., in early 2004 when she lost her home to foreclosure, the Racine Journal Times reports. She said she’s been paying much of the $89-per-night cost from her disability benefits, but hotel management began eviction proceedings in July, saying that she owes $29,000.

Ganjian, who filed for bankruptcy in August, told the Journal Times that she stayed in the hotel so long because she has no surviving family with whom she can stay.
