The top officials at the Ohio prison where kidnapper Ariel Castro died have been reassigned, the Columbus Dispatch reports.

Ohio prisons chief Gary Mohr announced in an internal memo this week that he was transferring the warden and second-in-command. The memo included no mention of Castro’s suicide. Two other corrections officers had previously been suspended without pay for neglecting duty and filing false log reports about the night of Castro’s death.

Castro was found dead hanging in his jail cell with his pants and underwear at his ankles on Sept. 3, and investigators now suspect he died from auto-erotic asphyxiation, a masturbation technique involving self-strangulation.

In July, he pleaded guilty to nearly 1,000 counts of kidnapping, rape, and other crimes and was sentenced to life without parole, plus 1,000 years. He held women in his Cleveland home for years.
