A Chicago man was jailed Sunday on $250,000 bail after allegedly trying to mug someone with axe.
Jimmie Ortiz, 30, allegedly pulled open a car door on Saturday and demanded of the man inside, “give me your stuff,” according to court records. Witnesses overpowered Ortiz, axe and all, and held him until police arrived, the Chicago Sun Times reports.
Ortiz has yet to comment.
