The nine-year-old boy who snuck onto a plane from Minneapolis to Las Vegas last week has previously stolen a car and entered a water park without paying admission, the Star Tribune reports.

An email  from his home county’s Human Services and Public Health Department, obtained by the newspaper, indicate the agency has conducted child protection assessments on his family four times since December 2012.

“The reports have been inconsistent and there have been no injuries to the child; however, there is a pattern of behavior,” the email read.

The boy, who became violent and was hospitalized after being picked up by police in Las Vegas and placed in a temporary foster home, was scheduled to have a hearing Monday to authorize a flight home to the Minneapolis area.
