A fourth biker was arraigned Sunday and faces the most serious charges yet in a motorcycle gang assault on a New York City driver, NBC News reports.

Reginald Chance, 37, allegedly smashed the front window of Alexian Lien’s Range Rover with his helmet during the Sept. 29 incident, which was partly caught on a video posted to YouTube, moments before Lien was forced to stop, pulled from his car, and beaten in front of his wife and child.

Chance, who faces gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon, among other charges, was with a group of bikers who swarmed around Lien’s car on the West Side Highway after he clipped one of their own, who had slowed down in front of him. Lien sped off, knocking into and seriously injuring another biker, but was overtaken by members of the biker gang, who slashed his tires, smashed his windows, and beat him. Chance’s lawyers said his client did not assault Lien.

“My client obviously overreacted in smashing the window, but beyond that he was not a participant in any assault on the victim,” the lawyer said, according to NBC.

Police are still looking for two other bikers connected to the attack, investigators said.
