Dozens Injured in Chicago Train Crash

At least 33 people have been taken to area hospitals after two Chicago subway trains collided Monday morning.

The crash, on the Chicago Transit Authority’s Blue Line, happened just before 8 a.m., when a westbound elevated train was struck by one heading in the opposite direction, NBC Chicago reports. Initial news reports pegged the number injured at 48, but those numbers were later revised down.

No fatalities have been reported yet.
