Chicago Police detectives investigate the scene where 13 people, including a 3-year-old child, were shot in a city park in Chicago

Four men have been arrested in connection with a mass shooting last week in a Chicago park that wounded 13, including a toddler.

Tabari Young and Brad Jett, both 22, were identified as the shooters involved in the violence at Cornell Square Park on the city’s south side and were charged Tuesday with attempted murder and aggravated battery with a firearm, the Chicago Tribune reports. On Monday, Bryon Champ, 21, and Kewane Gatewood, 20, were arrested and faced the same charges, with police saying they played “significant roles” in the shooting.

Meanwhile, Deonta Howard, 3, was recovering in a hospital after sustaining a bullet wound to his face. He was with his mother, Shamarah Legget, in the park at about 10 p.m. when the gunfire erupted. “All he wants to do is go home, that’s all he keeps saying,” Legget said.
