A fourth adult film performer has come forward as HIV-positive amid an ongoing moratorium on shooting, the LA Times reports.
The Free Speech Coalition called Friday for the second moratorium in a month when a third performer tested positive.
The fourth performer last week contacted the president of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, a group that is pushing for a statewide requirement that performers use condoms and backed similar legislation that passed in LA.
The industry is considering shortening the frequency of tests for sexually transmitted diseases and has required performers whose last test was before Aug. 10 to retake a test.
