A New York City woman offered a $60,000 stamp collection in return for her husband’s murder. The only problem? She offered it to an undercover cop.
The Associated Press reports that Elena Adams was arrested Thursday when police uncovered her plot to have her husband killed. Police say that Adams met the undercover officer in a car in Sheepshead Bay, gave him the stamps and a picture of her husband, and instructed him make the murder look like a hit-and-run.
Adams was arrested shortly after the exchange.
