I think my favorite have been the self-righteous white people I see on the streets during this. They are the heroes in this
Trayvon and Zimmermann are BOTH fictitious characters .... you will NOT find them anywhere in Mainland USA.... created by the New World Order glabalists as yet another false flag hit. Go check whitepages.com....
Wake up America.... keep checking EVERY stoopid event they headline
HINT It's a million time$ cheaper to do an Aurora or Shady Hoax or Trayvon/Zimmerman fraud...and MSM gives it just as much headline squaw inches as an Inside Job ...which is why we get more and smaller hits with ever huger headlines.
Boston also an Inside Job: same principle, cheap as crap to stage (same actors already trained) and huge headlines
Wake up guys....
Where are the mass protests and pickets to stop the thousands dead each year from gang violence and black on black crime?
Zimmerman was obviously attacked, if these people don't want folks guarding their own neighborhoods then they should pay for the police to be on every corner.
Over 7,000 murders of blacks in the US every year. 93% of these murders are committed by blacks. I think they have the wrong enemy.
I don't know how many people know this but 69 whites have been killed under SYG laws in Florida and 32 blacks.
For another related item, in 2009, an African American man shot dead a white youth who he said had been threatening him. The man was acquitted.
I fully understand why African Americans are angry because they are often harassed by cops.
But, I also so why so many whites are angry because they have been mugged or beaten up by African American men.
What is needed is a dialogue and a discussion of what to do about these twin problems.
Too many people see only one side of the issue and are marching to force society to take their half truth as a whole truth.
Some people make it sound that he got out of his truck after he had been instructed not to do so but he was told, or advised, whatever, not to follow after he had already left the vehicle, so at that time he stopped (at the cut through I believe) and Rachel said that Martin had kept moving (presumably towards where he was staying) so in a very short while there should have been about a 60 or 70 yard separation between them, so if Zimmerman stayed about where he was while talking on the phone and telling them to still send the police, and it doesn't make any sense that someone would commit a crime against another person when they know the cops are on the way, I can only conclude that Martin doubled back. Many have pointed this out but it's not discussed, but clearly Juror 37 understood this and understood that it was Martin then who turned it into a violent interaction. His temper got the better of his and he lost his life. This happens frequently so lets discuss this with out sons (to control their tempers). Also discuss that the "news" channels frequently distort things as they did in this case.
If something like what happened to Treyvon were to happen to me please save yourselves the time, the embarrassment, the humiliation, and the drama. I, no longer want the Just Us Department to intervene on my behalf. Laws were not made for anyone other than African Americans back in Slavery Days to tell us what we could not do and if we did what would happen to you that is it. I did not hear anyone say let us come up with something to change what is going on in Florida and around this country. I hear people there will never see the light of day for lesser crimes. Nonetheless, to save me from being killed and having a knife plunged in my back as well, do not answer any questions, skip all the details, no need to collect evidence none of the sort just send them away and certainly do not go to court for me because I am fine with that. Please tell them “no thank you” because if I am murdered I will not know anyway. I do not need this kind of Just Us. No, it will not make me less important it simply means I will not be treating as such either. Lay me down to rest with some kind of integrity I would prefer it that way. The Treyvon Martin's case was handled with no tact and very unprofessional. Jokes were being told the murderer was laughing. Zimmerman’s Attorneys got a big kick out of defending that murdered and it showed before, during and after Treyvon’s court proceedings while the fact still remains and Treyvon’s case is still unresolved. I do not need to be murdered twice and you certainly do not need to be stroked before a knife goes into your backs as well. Matters at hand we need to come up with a way not to be duped anymore in the future and this would be the best way for me. If I so happen to be murdered the way Treyvon and all the rest of the African Americans who were murdered in this country, so that my family does not fall for Just Us is being served for me, please family tell the Just Us Department “no thank you and have a nice day” we’re fine because I will not know the outcome anyway. I thought what the Just Us Department did to the Martin Family was absurd. This has been a reoccurring problem forever to long so please save me the humiliation. I am sorry for the Martin family and their lost I know you were hoping to get some relief for your son Treyvon (God Rest His Soul) and I was foolish enough to believe in the 21st Century that this time he would.
There are a lot of ignorant comments from both sides here. Let's stick with this:
George Zimmerman was acquitted, which is proof that the system works. Whether or not you agree philosophically that GZ was innocent of wrong-doing, the fact is that the evidence presented was not strong enough to convict the man of the charges presented. So please stop crying about this nonsense and go pay attention to something that actually matters.
This was a case of an unarmed innocent teenager on his cellphone, with his snacks and bothering nobody, who was stalked, and confronted by an aggressive armed wannabe cop who, against police an advice, picked a fight and killed him.
Trayvon Martin had every right to try to defend himself against this attack.. The anger here is against not only George Zimmerman, but the lawmakers in Florida who gave him the tool to kill this person and get by with it. No doubt this attack was racially motivated.
It pains me to think of racism in the United States. Since my youth in the late1960s, this nation has been widely accused of ignoring basic human rights, incl. the right of equality before the law. No doubt there are few honorable or equitable judges and jurors who make righteous decisions these days. But they should anticipate the consequences of every biased verdict that they deliver. In fact, those so-called judges who deliberated cases of suspected terrorists (who have been kidnapped, tortured and abused without any evidence) have hardly ever delivered any righteous verdicts. Is that a gross violation of human rights?
What is bitterly ironic is the U.S. government's constant condemnation of other countries of violating human rights at every opportunity. Does it do ithat to divert world attention away from their in humane - if not inhuman - practice?
Jewish people, some 3000 years or so after being freed from slavery in Egypt, still celebrate this liberation. The celebration is called the Passover. Do we think blacks, freed from slavery in 1866 and fighting their own insecurity and majority culture for some decades after that, will "outgrow" this slavery issue in a few hundred years? No, they won't. As Henry Clay argued, blacks need to be repatriated to Africa, or at least as many was want to need to be repatriated. Our govt should agree to this, and pay to have this done, in exchange for an end to aff action, set asides, etc. Maybe, just maybe, then, we can begin to clear this hurdle....
what we are seeing is the Obama Army of socialist forming against all that are not members. Perhaps we will see the advent of the dark one rising?
hope and change babeeeee
1. more racial divisiveness
2. higher black unemployment
3. destruction of the middle class
4. 6 trillion in additional debt (and counting)
5. destruction of the healthcare system
6. fast and furious
GZ IS FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
all the black and spanish people at work despise all this protest garbage. yes, they work for a living, unlike the pos protesters who do nothing, accomplish nothing, have no goals, complete waste of humanity in the protesters
Considering the number of people of a wide variety of colors who have been slain under "Stand Your Ground" legislation, it is a wonder and a tragedy that Trayvon Martin is the face of the protest. It show how few people are truly aware of the damage the legislation has caused to a wide variety of families and it shows how "glazed" our view is of our world. Protesting "stand your ground" with TRAYVON as a figurehead is an assault and disrespect to the thousands of families of ALL colors who have lost people. THIS IS FLORIDA ALONE: http://www.tampabay.com/stand-your-ground-law/fatal-cases
New laws(Legal case at USA court against Obama,USA government,UN,vodafone company - As my documents at : www.helmyelsaid.blogspot.com)
@JustinMartin There is no way for the sleezy politicians and "leaders" in the black community to make hay out of black on black crime.
@rohit57 If you are attacked a gun will be more useful than a dialogue.
@Piers Thanks for an analytical posting! You concentrate on facts and reasoning and leave emotions out of it.
Americans are not born with the racial profile of black people being more likely to commit crimes. This is a profile that people create in their minds over time due to their experiences, and, simply, the facts. If we look at the number of homicides committed in the United States between 1974 and 2004, 52% of offenders were black and 46% were white. Seems pretty equal, right? The kicker is that blacks made up only 12% of the total population during this time period, while whites made up 80%. This shows that statistically, your average black person was much more likely to commit a homicide than your average white person. This might be uncomfortable to hear, but facts are facts. In addition, it's also more likely that a black man would commit a homicide than a black woman. The facts tell us this, too. Over time, our brains gather this information and form a judgment based on fact - black people are more likely to be murderers. Does this mean that every black man is going to commit homicide? Of course not. But it is a rational judgment, based on facts, that helps us make sense of our world.
The truth of the matter is racial profiling works. Israel has proved to be incredibly successful in using racial profiling as a major tool in airport security. Why does it work? Because 80 year old American grandmothers have not blown up any planes lately - but young Arab extremists have
"But it's not fair! Not everybody in a certain group falls into these racial stereotypes!" That is a true statement. However, just because not everybody falls into these profiles does not mean that the profiles themselves are useless. At this point in history, they are accurate.
If we want the stereotype to change - one thing needs to happen. The people in those groups need to stop matching the stereotype
@Onepatriot This is a case of a drugged out 17 year old, with a documented violent streak, with his ingredients for purple drank, 70 yards away from home, turned and beat the neighborhood watchman. Told him he was going to die.
George Zimmerman had every right to try to defend himself against this attack. The anger here is against not only Trayvon Martin, but the racebaiters in Florida who gave him the tool to automatically convict someone of a crime and get away with it. No doubt this attack was racially motivated.
See how making up facts is fun?
@Onepatriot what a moronic post. Trayvon was a thug, a gangster wanna-be, and when he realized he was being followed he confronted GZ, attacked him, and was pounding his head on the sidewalk. Doesn't sound like an innocent little boy out with his snacks, does it? Why can't you look at the actual facts and judge accordingly rather than trying to make the facts fit your prejudice?
@OnepatriotYou have not shown that Martin was "attacked" by Zimmerman prior to the shot. My belief is that he was questioned, he became angry and he attacked Zimmerman. Other than the shot, the only injuries were on Zimmerman.
As for the "the lawmakers in Florida who gave him the tool" a black man in Rochester shot dead a white teenager who had threatened him and the black man, Roderick Scott was acquitted by the jury.
Rochester is not in Florida, it is in New York state.
And no, whites did not go on marches to protest the acquittal.
He chucked big rocks at Zimmerman, those are a weapon. In fact they are one of the most advanced weapons ever developed in Africa, right behind a pointy stick.
@bobw11 One reason many won't want to go back - not enough white women. US Census 2010 says that 25% of black men married outside their race (i.e., white). Take a look around - them black men sure likes them white girls. Interesting bunch - cannot make women they want - and insist they have the right to breed all other women.
@bobw11 Lincoln lobbied Congress for exactly that - twice - after discussions with the black intellectuals of that time, although they were more interested in Central America than back to Africa, or basically, someplace 'tropical' where they could re-establish their culture which they were comfortable and experienced with.
As far as Africa today, there is 1.2 billion people on that continent. What needs to be done is force the whites in Africa today back to Europe, America, or Australia, and then there is room in Africa for the Africans who are here to go back there.
This will happen - after ww3 - because you humans are simply too damn stupid to do it any other way.
@lazarus00000 Actually all three of Obama, McCain and Carter have made very wise comments. You should not confuse Obama with Sharpton. Obama said, "The jury has spoken, that is how our system works."
That is a clear message to the black community, "Cool it."
Of course there is the larger problem of race relations, but Zimmerman should not be made into a victim.
All of those happened under Bush as well.
@ShmeggleMarxist Not sure we can say they do nothing - as they are quite busy killing each other at the rate of approximately 10,000 per year - 72 in Chicago just this past week. However, since even they can figure out how to reproduce at a faster rate, they don't go away. They obviously need help - going away.
Retardlicons are all pedophile communists.
@riccismiles I wouldn't call it an assault. This just happened to be the one case that caught fire. I'm sure the other families are grateful some national attention is being brought to this stupid law.
@lazarus00000 You don't even know what those words mean.
This "logic" would be laughable if it weren't so blatantly racist and ignorant. The kicker isn't that Black people make up 13% of the population. The kicker is that Black people and other people of color are harrassed by the police more often, pulled over more often, arrested more often, and prosecuted more often than Whites. And when we finally get to actual sentencing, you guessed it, even when Black and White people commit the same crime, Black people receive harsher sentences than their White counterparts. Your argument is flawed because you're saying, "Since more Black people are profiled by the criminal (in)justice system, that proves that they are criminals." You put your ignorance on display when you write that people magically inherit the belief that Black people are more likely to commit crimes based on "their experiences, and, simply, the facts." This is a racist stereotype based on selectively interpreting the information.
According to Hartney & Vuong in their 2009 report entitled, "Created Equal', nearly 1.1 million adults were convicted of a felony in state courts in 2004. About the same percentage of Whites (17%) and African Americans (18%) were convicted of violent crimes. A somewhat higher percentage of Whites (31%) than African Americans (26%) were convicted of property crimes, while a higher percentage of African Americans (41%) than Whites (30%) were convicted of drug offenses. Among those convicted of a felony, African Americans were more often sentenced to prison and had longer sentence lengths than Whites.3 Overall, 66% of Whites versus 71% of African Americans were sentenced to incarceration. For those convicted of violent offenses, 80% of African Americans versus 75% of Whites were sentenced to incarceration; for drug offenses, 70% of African Americans versus 63% of Whites were sentenced to incarceration. Overall and for each offense type, except weapons, African Americans were sentenced to probation, the more lenient disposition, less often than Whites. Whether incarcerated or placed on probation, Whites had an average sentence length of 37 months compared to 40 months for African Americans. The differences were most pronounced with regard to state prison sentences for violent crimes, where African American sentences averaged over a year longer than Whites—108 months versus 95 months.
Finally, you write, "If we want the stereotype to change - one thing needs to happen. The people in those groups need to stop matching the stereotype.” This makes absolutely no sense. Not all Black people are criminals. If you choose to believe this stereotype, YOU are the individual with a flawed worldview. Therefore, it is YOU and people like you who need to change. White people also commit crimes, as do members of all other ethnic groups. Historically, Europeans / European Americans have engaged in despicable, disgusting, and depraved behaviors. But since it is important to treat people with equity and fairness, it would not be right to generalize the actions of some - even though this behavior was widespread - to the entire ethnic group. Your suggestion that Black people should stop matching the stereotypes about them is absurd. Some people engage in criminal activities, many do not. Those who do not, by definition, already don't fit the stereotype. Each individual is responsible for his/her own thoughts, words and deeds. If you choose to hold and espouse racist beliefs and attitudes, you own the repercussions of that. You also own the work of disabusing YOURSELF of these racist notions, so don't put that responsibility on Black people.
Please enlighten me with your blazing intellect?
I am a student of history and will gladly debate you on anything you wish to discuss.
@zahraliberation @AnaBanan @sandrafalls Your posting is a very good one but let me ask a question. Recently, 23 chidlren died in India because there was insecticide in their food. Now let me ask you which of the following you would choose.
a) Most food is fine so the Indian government should only monitor food which actually has insecticide in it.
b) The Indian government should monitor ALL food to make sure there is no insecticide.
Hopefully you agree with b).
Even if most black people are law abiding, it does make sense for the cops to "keep an eye on" young black men who commit a lot of crimes.
At the same time, since most black people are innocent, the cops should remain polite and start with the assumption that they are talking to a reasonable person.
I feel that Zimmerman might have been right to question Martin but he should have chosen his language with care. He could have said, "Excuse me mister, but I am a neighborhood watchman and I have not seen you here before. May I ask if you are visiting someone?"
With a different language, Zimmerman would have saved his nose and his scalp and Martin would have saved his life.
And secondly, watchmen should have the legal obligation to record all conversations when they question anyone. Indeed, so should cops. It is no longer that expensive or difficult.
But I DO wish that American blacks did not keep pretending that "Whites have to clean up their act and WE do not need to do anything differently." I would say, "I am sorry but you do have to do things differently and the first step is, stop listening to Sharpton."
@rohit57 You make absolutely no sense. And it's obvious you didn't pay much attention to testimony during the case. It is only "perfectly in order" for cops to question people if there is probable cause, which is outlined in the constitution of the USA. A neighborhood watch person doesn't have that authority, even if they are "captain". No doubt TM punched GZ, but the question is why. And testimony by Rachel Jenteal suggested why he did. TM told Jenteal while they were on the phone that he was being followed and that he thought GZ was "creepy" & maybe a "child molester". When GZ approached TM, TM asked GZ why he was following him & then Jeanteal, who was still on the phone with TM, heard TM saying "get off get off". That would suggest GZ made some type of physical contact which gave TM the legal right to defend himself from what would be perceived as a reasonable threat. A stranger who you perceive to be "creepy" or a "child molester" follows you and never identifies themselves when they approach you & they then make or attempt to make some type of physical contact with you warrants self defense.
@Mr.357@rohit57@AnaBanan@sandrafalls I think it is perfectly in order for the cops to question people as long as they do it politely. Was it OK for Zimmerman who was not a cop? Well, he was a captain in NW so perhaps he had a right. In any case, it is impractical to have cops everywhere.
For instance, when I am in the Quiet Car in Amtrak, sometimes people talk even though they are not supposed to. I ask them to stop rather than wait for a cop.
Cops cannot be everywhere.
Anyway, there seems little doubt that Martin attacked Zimmerman for there is no other explanation which fits the facts. And even if we say that Zimmerman should not have questioned it, I hope even you Mr. 357 do not think we have a right to attack anyone who asks us a question.
And black men do often attack without reason. I have been cursed (though not attacked,) by a young black man for no other reason than that I asked him where the Brooklyn Bridge was. Did I have the right to attack him for cursing me? Maybe, but I just said, "The guy is a fool" and walked away.
@rohit57 @Mr.357 @AnaBanan @sandrafalls He was advocating we fight crime by tracking people's skin color. That's indeed racist. And Zimmerman didn't question anybody. And more importantly, if someone is walking down a sidewalk, the only person who has a legal right to question you is a cop. The color of one's skin doesn't dictate if someone will commit a crime. The only thing that connects me to a group that's "not law abiding" as you put it is the color of my skin and the fact that I have a penis, there are hundreds of other physical and personality characteristics that separate me from them. By your logic I should assume that most middle aged white men are in the KKK since that is what makes up the majority of that group.
AnaBanan says, "The people in those groups need to stop matching the stereotype"
But the vast majority of black people, even young black men, do NOT commit homicides. Many of them do not even shoplift. So how are they supposed to change? And still, even our president, are subject to profiling.
There COULD be the following kind of bargain between cops (including watchmen like Zimmerman) and young black males.
The cops could grant that the vast majority of black people do not commit crimes and they are in fact likely to be the victims. So a copy MAY question a black male, but he must do so politely, and not hurt his pride.
The black males on the other hand must admit that they belong to a group which is not as law abiding as white grandmothers, or even black grandmothers. It makes perfect sense for the police to question them, as long as the cops do it politely. And they themselves must remain polite when dealing with the cops.
My suspicion is that Martin felt resentment at Zimmerman for questioning him at all and he also thought Zimmerman was a gay creep. So he let fly. Even while we understand Martin's anger, we have to understand that his action was wrong, and under the circumstances dangerous.
What we need is cooperation among the black community, liberal whites, and the non-liberal whites as well other communities. Each must understand the point of view of the other. They all have a PART of the truth and they need to acknowledge the part of the truth that the others have.
I hope Mr. 357 understands what I am saying.
