— How much Army Corps of Engineers contracting officer Kerry Khan stole from U.S. taxpayers using bribery and kickbacks between 2006 and 2011. The Justice Department, here, calls it “the largest domestic bribery and bid-rigging scheme in the history of federal contracting.” A federal judge sentenced Khan, 55, to 20 years imprisonment Thursday.
