No Comp Time!

The share of competed contracts at the Pentagon dropped from 62.6% in 2008 to 57.1% last year, the Government Accountability Office said in a report released Thursday, here. The Air Force competed only 37.1% of its contracts.

Let's see, with the competition rate dropping one percent per year, in about 57 years there will be no competition at all. I think that ties in with Lockheed's projection that it will get every contract. Of course the way unit costs are going, that would be only one unit (truck, plane, ship) per year for each service. And I'll take one egg roll with that.
