“Don’t Drip, Or I’ll Shoot”

Fantastic photo. It perfectly encapsulates the War today, waiting. Waiting for the Taliban to come, waiting for the enemy to make his move. Sit and wait and can't do anything about it. Nothing obnoxious, no display of military might. Just a young soldier sitting by an ancient water pump.  The soldiers will go home, but the pump will still be there. Just as it always has and just as the country.

I thought the ANA took the lead in watching dangerous water pumps? In any case the US troop isn't needed, obviously. Bring him home.
