Deaths & Funerals are always used as "missionary moments" to influence/convert others to MORMONISM. Very Sad. Mr. Parker is a Mormon, other parents in a state of shock is all I can say,,,,,,,do not know if I could show such composure if I lost a very young child,,,,,,,,,,,,
Leave these poor people alone to grieve in peace. I'm sure they don't need pictures of their children's hearses and final resting places splashed all over the place. LEAVE THEM ALONE.
I remember losing a brother mny years ago and no one in my family was smiling and joking the next day. Other families that have known were also severely emotional for week months and even years later......except these which were filmed by news teams...these are actual reported peole at Sandy Hook that lost family the day before.....
my heart hurts and i new none of these people..i am a mother and a sister anda daughter that being said i cant begin to understand what your going through for i have not lost my child or sister or mother...may all them beautiful souls REST IN PARADISE
I never thought any human being would be sick enough to do something like this. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was involved with this tragic incident.
Shooter's Mom takes a holiday for three days before fateful Friday:
KILLER PLANS MASS EXECUTION, MOM PARTIES AT RESORT
My love to all involved, whether they lost someone, or had to experience the horror of not knowing if they had lost someone. I cannot fathom how you may feel, and I hope I never experience it. Your children are safe now, in your arms, or in the angels', watching over you. Deepest condolences, and I hope out of the darkness comes the brightest sunrise. Much love, you're in my thoughts, and you have caused parents the world over to hold their children a little tighter (including myself) and be much more thankful for what they have. Rest in peace tiny angels, it wasn't your time.
May God give the parents of these innocent children the courage & strength to go on. May God keep these beautiful children closest to himself. My deepest prayers for all of them.
I look at the pictures of this beautiful town and I just think "why?"
The shooter had the world on a string...young,wealthy, loving parents. Just like Columbine. Why do people do these things when they have it all?
All I know is that if one adult was allowed a gun in that school, the loss of precious lives may have been less.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=ls4GnO3qCwE It deep condolence to the families of victims of the shootings were done by Adam. Hopefully this incident will not recur in everywhere. To the Government of the United States to immediately make rules limiting gun ownership to prevent recurrence and minimize the incidence of crime using firearms. We are born to love and care for each other. Why do we kill each other? May God give blessings to the families of the victims and God Bless you All and God Bless America.
Handgun Industry as responsible as the Tobacco Industry.
''It's not Our fault, it's Yours, Theirs.......We're just offering People the means to 'protect' themselves''
It comes down to making sure our family gets their fair share. The rich are trying to hide this from you and we are going to expose it!!! Google "RICH DEBT REVEALED''" then go to the top site. They have an DEBT CONSOLIDATION section that you need to click on so you can see the truth!
Semi-automatic and automatic weapons should be outlawed. There is no reason why any individual should own a weapon capable of killing dozens of people less than a minute. As I see it, attacks such as this are acts of terrorism, and by allowing the ownership of weapons of mass killing, our government is enabling terrorist activity. Our government should pass strict laws and start a buy-back program as incentive for individuals to turn in their semi-automatic and automatic weapons. No one has the right to own rocket launchers, grenades, or plastic explosives. How is owning a machine gun any different? These types of weapons are designed to kill many people in a short amount of time. Why on earth should anyone have the right to own something like that? It is senseless.
The way I see it there are far too many guns already in homes, in barns and on the proverbial streets. So any new firearm legislation would have very little impact. There are already hundreds of firearm laws on the books and this is still happening. The NRA will never allow any politician to barely even mention the phrase gun control. They are massive donors and this congress can't even pass simple legislation to help disabled vets. Gun control will never happen until the NRA stops donating so much money to politicians and spewing outright lies. Not only that but FOX news would flip their "sheet" if anyone ever tried to bring up gun control. They would spew 24 hour lies and deception until anyone who brought up gun control would just about commit suicide.
Prayer is not the answer, because there is no such thing as god. If there was, why did he allow 20 innocent children to be killed before Christmas? Wake up, no god, never was, never will be. It's an old fairy tale. Elaborate and engrained in our society for the most part, but still never the less, a fairy tale that does very little but comfort people for some reason. Anway.
The only real solution is massive community outreach and programs to identify these wing nuts and get them into counseling. I'm talking about a culture shift, anti bullying, anti gun rhetoric, anti violence, free counselors and whatever else.
Lastly, schools are going to have to become veritable air ports in their security. For starters bullet proof glass at front doors and allowing people only to be buzzed in from behind bullet proof glass. Apparently this gunman shattered the front glass at the front of the school. Perhaps magnetic key cards for teachers etc.
These crimes are copycat crimes. These wing nuts get this shoot up a school idea from the news of our day. I'm glad he killed himself because there is no punishment suitable for this crime. Slow torture is all I can think of but that's too nice.
What is needed is prayer for understanding, non-divisiveness, peace, love, for all the time, not just during the times when the topic is hot, but all the time. God sees all, and we cannot fool him.
What is needed is a national comprehensive program for the mentally ill - the pattern is clear young, lonely introverted and mentally ill....
starting form jr high through senior high ....
THE LEAST THAT IS EXPECTED FROM A HUMAN IS TO SHOW HUMANITY ... IF EVEN THAT CANNOT BE DONE THEN IT IS A SHAME ON BEING A HUMAN ...
I PRAY TO GOD TO BLESS THE EFFECTED FAMILIES AND FRIENDS WITH THE STRENGTH TO BEAR THE PAIN AND OVERCOME THE LOSS THEY HAVE SUFFERED ..
.***** MAN'S INHUMANITY TO MAN MAKES COUNTLESS THOUSANDS MOURN *******( Guru Judge FROM INDIA)
What to do when the Americans love their guns more than innocent lives being lost ! ! !
More is killed by guns in USA than all the Americans in wars.It is really dumb !
Which is more important ? Guns or innocent lives ?
If nothing is done to restrict gun ownership ... more and MORE will be killed ! ! !
REAL DUMB if you ask me. This NEVER happened in my country at all !
Interesting how states with stricter gun control have more issues. These things don't happen in the south.
@dontn123 For starters Rob Parker first parent to speak out is a MORMON and they used death to find converts.......
@JamesLAngelle aspergers people do not like loud sounds at all, I still want to know what dr. said he was aspergers,,, I have such a son, and would not dream of going too far away he has seizures.....................I live autism
@KellyDurbin when it all comes down to it,,,,,,,,,money helps us go around, but look it truly means nothing,,,,,,,,,,this kid needed heavy duty help years ago.........I have a disabled kid and do not HIDE IT...................
@KellyDurbin If we just make sure everybody has a gun I'm sure no-one will get shot anymore...
@butheemperorhasnoclothes People choose to smoke, people choose to kill. When does the notion of personal responsibility come in?
@AnumakondaJagadeesh Well, I guess you are from India and may not fully understand the freedoms we enjoy in this country. These children were heroes and not victims. They laid down their lives to defend our freedom to bear arms. Their deaths should not be mourned but celebrated, just like the soldiers of our revolution who gave their lives for our freedom.
@smangiar it is much better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. And the government incorporating a law to relinquish civilian firearms is absolutely absurd. Think before you start spouting off garbage.
@MajorF So God was hiding.................Fairy Tale Story.............Christopher Hitchens
First of all there are roughly 9,000 homicides per year caused by firearms and roughly 60% of those firearms were legally permitted (5,400). I know what you are going to say though.."Well that's 5,400 more deaths than we would have had if gun control was a reality." The problem with that mentality is that the other 3,600 deaths would not be affected by such laws and not only that but the average citizen would then have no way to protect themselves, thus increasing gun violence from illegally obtained owners. The only fear they would have is from law enforcement but unfortunately there are only 10 law enforcement officer to every 10,000 US citizens. So yes you are right that if there were ZERO firearms in the world it would be a better place but unfortunately since that is not a reality then we must bear arms to protect ourselves from those who use them as a threat.
@computerhoncho wrong should start in K
@emrixhelp Well a life is a life Trayvon Martin, and most recently kids killed at a gas station..........this could happen anywhere..........THE SOUTH
@emrixhelp West Viginia is not in the south? What about the Texas tower shooting in the 60's.
@emrixhelp No, that guy at UT never shot anyone in the 1960s.
not only in south, these thing never ever happend in the lawless and full of guns tribal areas of Pakistan. its inhumane to kill anyone specially kids.
His brother, Ryan, was the first one to suggest this. Nobody bothered to investigate the veracity of the statement but just kept repeating it.
@JimSage I love your sarcasm!
@TravisMatthewStearns These 20 kids and 7 adults would be alive today if this women would not have had these guns in her house. And it's very likely she would not have had these guns if they were not permitted. Period.
Of course the pro-gunners use the excuse that owning a gun makes the world a safer place.. but it just does not add up. It Just Doesn't. The current gun-laws did nothing to protect the kids last week and they will do nothing to protect the kids next time.
I guess it's time to make school illegal, because that's where these things happen... can't start blaming the guns, can we now?
