The Air Force’s two fifth-generation fighters – the F-22 Raptor (foreground) and the F-35 Lighting II -- flew together for the first time Sept. 19, according to Eglin Air Force Base. The pair of fighters is shown flying over the northwestern coast of Florida.

The F-22 has been a colossal disaster. I feel bad for the pilots that have to fly that death trap, and I feel even worse for those that have to work with it on the ground. That plane is a toxic stew of chemicals.
