Weapons geeks are just like kids at Christmas when it comes to their new toys -- they celebrate everything about them. This March 22 photograph, taken from the business end of an Air Force KC-135 tanker, doesn’t show the F-35’s first flight, its first night flight, or its first refueling. Rather it shows its first night refueling. Refueling in mid-air -- mid-day or mid-night -- is a big challenge, and certainly makes for cool pictures.
